Skincare tip of the day!

Happy Saturday!
It's June and with summer right around the corner, it's getting hot hot hot outside! The weather is just too beautiful for the day to be spent inside. That means summer BBQ's and cookouts, poolside parties and trips to the beach. Although the sunshine is great for a tan and for our minds (you can't help but be happy when you're enjoying the sunshine on a beautiful day), the heat that comes along with it isn't so nice to our skin and our makeup. If you are in need of an afternoon refresher for you skin, mist a toner over your face. The toner will feel cool against your skin, will refresh that pretty face of makeup and balance the pH of your skin. This will feel like an amazing 'pick me up' for your skin and makeup.
I love this deluxe sample size toner from Pangea Organics that I received in a previous Birchbox a few months back. The size of it is wonderful for tossing into my beach bag or clutch when I'm out enjoying the sunny rays and summer heat. The smell is ahhh-mazing as well! This is the Italian Green Mandarin and Sweet Lime toner for normal to combination skin.
I'll have a link below for Birchbox and Pangea Organics if you're interested in checking out this product!

And that's your skincare tip of the day! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend friends!

Going Green..Neon Green That Is!

Welcome back beauties! It's Friday! That means it's time to trade in the office attire for summer dresses, sunnies, and your favorite pair of sandals or wedges. Time to let your hair down and kick off this wonderful weekend with a margarita in hand. Of course you can't have those nails looking busted while you're sipping from that delicious drink, so a freshly painted manicure is a must have to top off your look.  This weekend I'll be sporting this neon, lime green polish from Sinful Colors at the family BBQ celebrating Father's Day weekend. I don't really incorporate a lot of neon colors into my wardrobe, so wearing them as a pop of color on my nails is my favorite way to pull them off. I'm not one to wear green on my nails either, but I'm actually really loving this bright green shade for summer. This is in the color 'Innocent' #944. One coat wasn't quite opaque enough for me, so two coats did the trick. I think this would also look super cute with a little white flower or dandelion painted on the ring finger or thumb as an accent nail if you want to take it up a notch. Spring and summer are all about brightening up your wardrobe and having fun with all different colors, styles, and trends.

I hope you're having a fantastic Friday and a great start to your weekend.

Lips of the Day

Hello lovelies! I'm back from my trip and gearing up for some fun posts to come soon. Since I've been giving my nails a break, I decided to share with you what I wore on my lips yesterday in a Lips of the Day post instead of the usual Polish of the Week. You'll recognize this color from a previous post reviewing some of my favorite Revlon Lip Butters. I'm still obsessed with wearing these for spring and summer. They're moisturizing, creamy and give off the perfect amount of color. Yesterday I chose the shade "Strawberry Shortcake" which is a light, bright tinted pink. This is my absolute favorite of all the lip butters I've tried and it's just the perfect pop of color for any skin tone.

What are some of your favorite lip products?
