Review: Nail-Aid 3 Minute Artificials

This top coat claims to to give you natural nails equivalent to the strength of acrylic nails in 3 minutes. If you're looking to this product to do the job it actually claims, then you're going to be disappointed with the outcome. I purchased this top coat because I was obsessed with the outcome of getting gel nail polish done at the nail salon, but I was definitely not obsessed with the price. So in hopes of finding something to take the place with a much better price point that I could do myself at home, I picked this product up for about 5 dollars. I followed the directions carefully the first time, applying no polish in order to see how strong it would actually make my nails, I was disappointed to find that it didn't really show much of a difference. Naturally my nails are pretty strong, so this could be why I didn't see a result. The second time using a polish though, I found this top coat to really provide the staying power I needed for my polish. Using this as my base and top coat, my polish lasts at least 4 or 5 days without an ounce of chipping! I'm so used to my nails lasting about 2 days before they start chipping that 5 days seemed impossible. I'm loving this as my new top coat right now. Have any of you tried this product out? I'd love to hear what you have to share!

xoxo

  1. I have had horrible, awful, ugly nails my entire life. At 41, I finally gave up on having any nail that extends past my fingertip. They break, peel and because of a skin contition I have, they pull completely away from the nail bed. I have been using this product for two weeks and I can't believe the difference in my nails! I actually have long pretty nails! I can't even believe it myself. It prevents them from breaking and getting soft & brittle, even for someone as hard on their nails me. Only problem? I bought it at Ross and can't find it anywhere now!!! HELP????

    2. I just bought it at Walmart for $3.48. I'm praying it works because lately I've been having the same problem as you Nikki. I think it might be something in my diet. Mt nails look great but the polish cones off with in a hour. Its so irritating. I'm gonna use this tomorrow. Wish me luck !:)

  2. I bought mine at Ross too! I haven't seen this exact product again since, but I did visit the company's website and they have other similar products. I'm beginning to think this particular one was discontinued.

  8. I also found it at Ross . I had very soft nails that wouldn't grow and if they did they would break very low. But I've been using this product for two week with outstanding results. I just love it!

  11. My dad just picked this up for me at Walmart on accident, and I'm glad to see that it worked for someone. I have read a few reviews that people said it didn't work, so to read this one gave me hope. :) I just painted my nails, using this as the top, and base coat, so hopefully my polish will last a while, like yours did! Great blog by the way, I'm loving it!
